Field Sales Executive

Job Overview:

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, meeting sales targets, and building strong customer relationships by visiting clients and providing personalized solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and closing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Targets and Quotas:
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas.
    • Monitor personal sales performance and adjust strategies to meet goals.
  2. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, and market research.
    • Generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities.
  3. Customer Visits and Presentations:
    • Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients.
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of the company’s offerings.
  4. Relationship Building:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to address client needs and concerns.
  5. Sales Negotiations and Closing:
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements with clients.
    • Close sales deals and ensure proper documentation and contract completion.
  6. Market Analysis and Strategy:
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to gain market share.
  7. Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services.
    • Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements.
  8. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.
    • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  9. Customer Feedback and Improvement:
    • Gather customer feedback and communicate it to relevant departments for product and service improvements.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of customer-centric strategies.
  10. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve company objectives.
    • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.
  11. Event Participation:
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
    • Promote the company’s products and services to a broader audience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Field Sales Executive or similar role in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling IT solutions to various sectors such as education, finance and others.
  • Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
